Hello and welcome to my website. 

 I am Matt. My daughter, Isabel, and I collect business cards.  I have only started to collect these recently but I am finding it very addictive and great fun. Unlike most other collectables there is very little cost involved with collecting them as they are designed to be given away for free. Most people and companies are happy to give you cards, you just need to ask. There are so many different styles and types of cards, the possibilites are endless.

I collect any cards but I am especially pleased to get cards that fall into the following catagories:

• Political (MP's, Councillors, Mayors)
• Diplomatic (Ambassadors, Embassy staff)
• Car Manufacturers
• Airlines
• Railway & Train Companies
• Shipping Lines
• Nuclear Power Industry
• Sport related
• Surnames either of 'Williams', 'Mannion', 'Chavasse' or 'Ormsiton'.
• Leaders Of Industry
• Bi-lingual cards (where the front & back have the same info but in different languages)
• Military

The cards I collect come from a wide variety of sources.  Most come from friends, family and colleagues who know I collect and look out for them for me. I also trade duplicates with other collectors.

  I am a new member of the IBCC (International Business Card Collectors), which is a group of like minded collectors from all over the world who trade cards and share information on collecting. My IBCC membership number is #432.

I also write or e-mail to various people or companies requesting cards. If I write I enclose a stamped addressed envelope for them to return. If anybody sends me cards and pays for the postage themselves, I will happliy refund the postage costs to them if they include their details or I will personally donate the cost of the postage to the charity.

I also write an online Blog which charts the building of this collection. I update whenever I aquire more cards and also keep a running total of the total cards in the collection and any costs incurred along the way. I add pictures as well of any interesting cards that come my way.  There is a link to the Blog through the links page if you are interested.

Maybe you have a pile of cards in your desk from contacts you no longer need or perhaps you have changed jobs or companies and have half a box of old cards. Rather than throw them in the bin, re-cycle them by sending them to me. I will take any cards in any condition and any amount.
